Day 2: Arrive in Kuala Lumpur and transfer to Ipoh

Meet & greet: Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport you will be welcomed to Malaysia by your private English speaking guide.

Journey from Kuala Lumpur to Ipoh: You will then embark on a 2 hour drive from Kuala Lumpur to Ipoh, where you will transfer to the Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat for a 3 night stay.

Day 5: Road journey back to Kuala Lumpur

Journey from Ipoh to Kuala Lumpur: After breakfast, you will embark on the return journey to Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the Villa Samadhi for a 2 night stay, where the rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure.

Day 6: Morning tour of Kuala Lumpur, and an afternoon at leisure

Morning orientation tour of Kuala Lumpur: This morning you will be taken for an orientation tour of the city covering the major historical landmarks - King`s Palace, National Monument, National Mosque and Merdeka (Independence) Square. Much of the history of the city is depicted here as well as the tradition and cultural heritage of the major communities. Included in this tour is an opportunity to enjoy the panoramic view of the city from the observation deck of the KL Tower.

Afternoon at leisure: This afternoon you have some time free to explore the Malaysian capital independently. KL is a large city, but easy to navigate. The public transport system is extensive and easy-to-use, and English-speakers are always at hand. As with any large, modern capital city there is a wealth of activities, excursions, shopping opportunities, and dining options at hand. Your hotel and guide will be able to suggest a number of good ideas.

Day 7: Transfer by road & boat to Tioman Island

Transfer by road and boat from Kuala Lumpur to Tioman Island: After an early breakfast you will depart your hotel in Kuala Lumpur to begin your journey out to the tropical island of Tioman. After traversing the width of Peninsular Malaysia you will arrive at the East Coast port of Mersing in the mid-afternoon, before boarding a private resort boat out to Tioman. The boat transfer will take around 1 hour (depending on sea conditions), having you arrive on Tioman shortly before sunset.

Days 8-11: Days at leisure on Tioman Island

Day 12: Transfer by boat & road to Singapore

Transfer by boat & road to Singapore: Early this morning you will depart Tioman by high-speed ferry back to the mainland port. Here you will be met by a private guide and driver and driven down to Singapore, a journey of approximately 3-4 hours. You will arrive in your downtown Singapore hotel in the middle of the afternoon to check in and relax.

Day 13: Morning tour of Singapore, with an afternoon at leisure

Morning tour of Singapore: This morning’s orientation tour of the city begins with a stop at the “Colonial Heart” for a view of Padang, Cricket Club, Parliament House, Supreme Court and City Hall. Continue to Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of Singapore’s oldest temples. Join in the bustling activity of Chinatown, a place where many of the original immigrants set up home. Wander around the unique shops and visit the magnificent Sri Mariamman Temple, Singapore’s oldest Hindu temple. The next stop is made at Mount Faber for a panoramic view of the harbour. Swing by the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the ‘green lung’ of the city to experience the calm and serenity of this 52 hectare garden. Located within the grounds of the park is the National Orchid Garden, where you can marvel at the wide variety and colours of orchids on display.

Afternoon at leisure: This afternoon you have some time at leisure to relax and explore the vibrant city of Singapore independently. The extensive public transport system is easy to navigate, and will take you all over the city. Spend some time wandering around the various multicultural neighbourhoods, enjoy the city's world-class shopping outlets, or sample some of the best street-food in Asia.
